"Best"--Eugenia Macer-Story:

"Interesting sync: Last week I dropped by Theater For The New City with my script:"The Liberation of Little Lulu or Martin Luther King detained in Limbo".. They may do this. It was written 25 years ago, Times have not changed much. The play is about how a black gang member protects a middle class (Jewish) princess during a riot--meanwhile nicknaming her "Little Lulu." In an expressionist interlude the archetype of : "Little Lulu" comes to life,-- as a goddess, who -- in minstrel shows--detains the Rev. King with a few questions before he can enter heaven.
